Trial steps
- 1
- Speak with Grendel the Really Old in the Magic Library and receive his letter
- 2
- Take the letter to the Magician Job Instructor at The Forest North of Ellinia
- 3
- Enter an available private Magician trial chamber
- 4
- Defeat the trial monsters and collect exactly 30 Dark Marbles
- 5
- Give the marbles and letter to the colleague inside to receive one Proof of a Hero
- 6
- Return to Grendel and choose Wizard of Fire and Poison, Wizard of Ice and Lightning, or Cleric

- There are three chambers. If all are occupied, wait until one is clear

- The letter is not granted and your advancement does not change
